Award-winning actor TERRENCE HOWARD will join a host of celebrities including Quincy Jones, Alec Baldwin, Helen Hunt, Laura Dern, John C. McGinley, Beverly Johnson and Jamie Foxx who have stepped up in the past to support the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

Howard is part of the star-studded line-up at Global’s 2015 Be Beautiful Be Yourself Fashion Show on Saturday, October 24 at the Colorado Convention Center. Howard will be escorting models with Down syndrome on the catwalk and will be on hand throughout the evening to cheer them on.

The multi-talented Howard is best known for his Golden Globe and Academy Award nominated work in "Hustle & Flow," as well as for his supporting role in "Crash," for which he received a National Board of Review Award for Best Breakthrough Performance. Howard is one of the most prolific actors of his generation; his feature film credits include diverse roles in "Valerie Flake," "Best Laid Plans," the Academy Award nominated "Ray," "Pride," "The Brave One," "August Rush," and "Ironman." He was recently seen as Nelson Mandela in "Winnie Mandela," and starred in the award-winning "Lee Daniels’ The Butler," "Prisoners," "The Best Man Holiday" and "St. Vincent." He currently stars in the Fox musical drama series "Empire."

Down syndrome research at the Linda Crnic Institute for Down Syndrome and life-changing medical care at the Sie Center for Down Syndrome both on the Anschutz Medical Campus.
